bs26-3-47 has been like our second home for the past 2 days. doing project from 11 til about 4 or 6. with a 1 hour lunch break in between for today's meeting.

technically we wasted ONE FULL day on CAC, cos we just found out that the company, Opes Prime, which just collapsed not long ago, cldnt be used in our analysis.

due to the lack of confirmation that the reasons behind its collapse are accurate. and hence renders our report as INACCURATE, if we just follow the assumptions of the articles? sighh. have to find another company now.

but actually, thank goodness we hvnt rly started on the report. or else... i will just puke blood on the spot. >< *pats to those who hv started on CAC report* ya. today we did SAPM project. managed to do the economic analysis, although the starting was like... having difficulties linking our thoughts into one idea. and our points are like jumping all over the place. HAHA.

but we managed to finish some part of it. :) thankful. cos i think my brain was like, rly lost and in my own world at times. feel guilty for being distracted during the meeting sometimes, but... i cldnt help it. oh well. recently been reading a book called "When you need a miracle- Experiencing the Power of the God of the Impossible" by Lloyd John Ogilvie

just looked at one chapter of it which i thought wld apply most to my life, and that is..

When you need a miracle to....

Rest in the Assurance that God knows the best for you.

i'm still pretty much struggling with that fact... but i guess, there's something God really wants me to learn through wht i've been experiencing.

i dont want to pretend that nothing is happening, but to accept it. and to learn what God wants to teach me.

to be able to accept God's "NO".

this is an impt thing to learn indeed. that's why it's been a loooong time of training.

-excerpt from the book-

"Even If It Doesnt Work Out"

True freedom is found in that awesome territory beyond the place where we simply receive answers to our prayers for what we want or think is best. There is no lasting liberation from our fearful anxiety until we are able to say, "Even if it doesnt work out" as we planned or hoped, we will experience a greater victory. We are alive forever. Nothing in this life can defeat us.

So much of our faith is dependent on getting God to do what we think we need. We judge our Christianity, and that of others, on the basis of evident answers to our petitions. We remain faithful as long as there is a steady stream of miracles on our behalf.

When we face reversals or long periods of waiting for answers to prayer, immediately we think there must be something wrong with us. Sometimes, we even question God's faithfulness.

The account of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the book of Daniel gives us four words of faith that introduce us to a "fourth for fire." Daniel's three Hebrew friends were overseers of the administration of the people of God during the Babylonian exile. They were faithful to Yahweh and would not worship the Babylonian gods.

When Nebuchadnezzar, the king of the Babylonians, set up an image of gold 90 feet high and 9 feet wide in the plain of Dura, they would not bow down and worship.

The news reached the king and he was enraged. He gave orders that the three Hebrews be brought before him. "Is it true, Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego," he said,

that you do not serve my gods or worship the golden image that I have set up? Now if you are ready, at the moment you hear the sound of the horn, flute, lyre, trigon, psaltery and bagpipe and all kinds of music, to fall down and worship the image that i have made, very well. But if you will not worship, you will immediately be cast into the midst of a furnance of blazing fire; and what god is there who can deliver you out of my hands?
(Daniel 3:14-15)

the answer of the courageous Hebrews is filled with daring confidence.

"O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to give you an answer concerning this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the furnace of blazing fire; and He will deliver us out of your hand, O king" (verses 16-17).

What they said next expresses the secret of their courage.

"But even if He does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we are not going to serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up" (verse 18).

"Even if He does not!" Five words for fire with which we face anything or anyone. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego's faith was not dependent on deliverance, but on the knowledge that God wld care for them beyond the furnace.

Not until we can say those words can we live abundantly. The 3 Hebrews cld not be coerced or cowed. They wld not worship any god but Yahweh. Nor did they expect Yahweh to bow down to them! There was no quid pro quo of bartered allegiance. They did nt trust God in order to get their way, they trusted Him for a way through, and beyond, any trial.
